11am – 12.30pm for 9yrs or older - currently fully booked. Request to join the waitlist in case of cancellations.

5-8 year old session (9:30am - 10:30am)

This macroinvertebrate school holiday workshop is for children aged 5-8 years old. You don't have to go to the zoo to see amazing animals, you can find them right under your nose with a magnifying glass. Whether it is in a bucket in our backyard or drains, streams and wetlands, a whole community of interesting creatures can be found in freshwater around our suburbs. This workshop will introduce you to the world of the macroinvertebrate and adults and children will all be fascinated by their interesting biology and behaviour, particularly the mighty mosquito.

9+ year old session (11:00am - 12:30am)

This macroinvertebrate school holiday workshop is for children aged 9 years or older.
